Cyanogen chloride

Cyanogen chloride is a harmful compound formed by harmless compounds.It is harmful as it is extremely toxic. It is formed by carbon,nitrogen and chlorine(CNCl). Carbon,nitrogen and chlorine are all harmless. Carbon is used in the making of diamond and used as lead in pencils.Nitrogen is a fertiliser and its the most abundant gas in the atmosphere. Chlorine is also harmless as it is used in swimming pools and bleaching powders. The chemical bonding used is covalent bonding. Cyanogen chloride is formed by the reaction of chlorine with hydrocyanic acids or its salts.
